    Sanyo ce26ld81-b

hi guys just picked another freebie up a SANYO CE26LD81-B problem seems to be when powered on the screen is a weird white grey color seems some funny colored small dots on top of lcd and some lines going across the screen no side button functions seem to work either for a short while if left on after a while the picture is very good is this a sign of bad caps or a faulty lcd. will upload pics when i have left it a while to show in fault condition and working condition.

Grab 99p store universal remote and program with Philips TV code, or use any Philips remote. Philips codes same as Vestel for some reason.
Then 4725 Menu or Menu 4725 to access service menu and do reset.

If all else fails you will need to replace EEPROM (a blank one works) but try to avoid that if possible as you will have to set up all panel settings and input settings which is a pain in the behind. 5-6 pin jump doesn't normally work on Vestels.

May have to swap the EEPROM then.

Does the fault that my TV exhibited in the video match your TV?
SCART-ing out really only passes the input signal to the output -- it's not supposed to copy what is exactly on the screen like the menus.

not really no the symptoms are dark grey blocked screen analogue snow freezes on screen timer freezes lines go across the top third of the screen flashing of and on then if you turn the set off and back on picture is fine

Can you get a picture of the problem? Tried gently flexing the TV to see if the problem goes away?

                      Hello,

I know some might say... just buy another one. Sell it as parts..!

So had this AMP for quite some time. Recently I saw light smoke coming out of the AMP. Had my fire extinguisher close by. Just kidding. Turned immediately all devices off from mains.
Let things cool a bit, and opened up the amp device. I clearly saw on the main board which hosts the 5X amp (5.1), 3 10 ohms 1W resistors had their leads looking black, while the rest of the remaining 2 x 10 ohms were brownish as being installed from factory.

Spent some time downloading the Service...

Garage door RX unit (Cardin S38C) does not short relay to send opening signal

                      Hello everyone,

I'm turning to the Badcaps community to help me troubleshoot the radio Rx card from my (old) garage door opener. While I could just ditch that card and replace the whole system, I first would like to understand "why" it suddenly stopped working, because that's just how I am wired...!

Some basics: the receiver works on a 30.875 Mhz frequency. Yes, I'm aware this is not in use anymore in a looot of places. It does not use any rolling code, it's just a regular dip-switch code that you have to set up on both the receiver and transmitter. The receiver...

                      Vizio M60-C3 Left Edge problem
                      by Pinky Deepak
I have a M60-C3 where the left edge has started showing issues as seen in the picture attached. Along with this, I also noticed some darkening on the left half of the screen which went away after I left the TV unplugged. i initially thought it was the led backlight that was wearing out but looks like something to do w the TCONN board. I searched this forum but couldn't find anyone else seeing this issue. most of them were LH/RH completely gone. any insights or guidance is appreciated.

Here's a video of both the issues: https://youtu.be/hMqc760nB3o

Panasonic Tx-40cx400b top left half screen not displaying correct
                      by armoured_smiler
                      Hi,

Trying to work out if this is TFT problem or TCon issue.
The TV powers up but the top half of the screen, from the right it is OK, but as you look across to the left halfway across it starts get duller and duller until it is very dark on the lefthand side, currently I trying to clean the remote as it seems to have something film wise on the pads stopping it from registering buttons pressed.

Also when changing the screen size of Windows PC display to say to a smaller pixel sizewindow, the original window displayin the top left stays/takes a few seconds to disappear?...
