Re: Philips th-42pv70p plasma tv problem

There is a cable running from the "A" board, which has the video inputs on it, going to the "D" board which processes this image. The "D" board is underneath the "A" board. Reseat this cable (remove and re-insert both ends) and see if this fixes the issue.

Re: Philips th-42pv70p plasma tv problem

i don`t see the A board. There are 2 boards called H and DG .
the H board has speaker out, sound processor, AV terminal, AV switch.
THe DG board has Digital signal processor, micon, HDMI interface, peaks lite 2.

I see the D Board, it's underneath this boards (H and DG boards). I think you mean this boards?

On this set, DG to D board; it's an older model the newer ones have DG+H in one A board,.

Glad to hear! So common on these models (PZ70/PZ80 too!)

Problem with LG Plasma 60PM6700 - Random power downs
                by theone111
I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.

In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.
                1. Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again.
                2. Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait about 10-20 seconds and turn it on again to solve.
                3. Problem: TV shuts down

Philips HTS8000 home cinema noise problem
                by courtcircuit
                Hello

I have since a long time a Philips HTS8010S/01 which has been old but was doing the job.

Since a few days, it starts by making a weird "static" nois when switches on for a few seconds to a minute and then works like a charm.
Noise loudly outputs from the 3 channels, even if no signal is sent by the controler.DVD to the subwoofer/amp unit.

I was thinking of a soldering that was starting to be damaged and that was only doing the job after a few seconds of heating, most probbaly on the power board
                Removed each of tyhe boards
                ...

Philips 58PUS8545 t-con problem or something else ?
                by atkallu
                Hello
I have a Philips 58PUS8545 which have a vertical moving lines on screen and it is flashing white vertical lines like a every 3-4 seconds.
                See the attached image.

I removed left side flex-cable from the t-con and then there was half screen sharp and correct image and other half was white.
But when I removed the right side flex-cable then half of the screen was white but other half was white and above the white there was vertical lines on half of the screen.

T-con two flex-cables have been changed to cross but nothing changed, so it is not due those...
