Picked this one up for $150. The seller bought 10 TV's that were customer returns, and this was the only one that didn't work, it wouldn't turn on. When I got home, I plugged in a power cord that was already connected to the power strip and it came on! It turned out it was a bad power cord!! Its now my main TV.

by MgiffuneI have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.
I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and... -
by gamartinelliHello,
I have an Asus VG248QE that all suddenly stopped working. Everything was fine, I had my PC connected to the HDMI port and never had any issues. Then I decided to plug a laptop in the DisplayPort (USB-C to DP cable). It worked fine for a few hours, I left, at some point the monitor went to sleep mode and when I came back and moved the mouse monitor didn't wake up. The power button lights up in blue when the signal is good and amber when in sleep mode / no signal turned purple (first time I saw that). Did some research but couldn't find a way to bring my monitor back to life....-

I'm looking for the dial cord winding settings for this radio!
I spend most of a whole day yesterday trying to figure this out. I just need to know how many turns for the tuning knob stylus to get me started, then how many on the lower and upper bobbins on the first cord pulley (there are two on either side of the tuning band area).
The dial cord system has a central gear where the dial cord spring and stay is, then the tuning knob stylus and two small rollers each with a small and a larger bobbin holder. I finally figured out how to wind the cord on those bobbins...-

by gustaznkrHey guys! I've recently found out this amazing forum where people talk and discuss about electronics repairs and i'm actually amazed with everything that here's have to offer.
Oh well, i came here looking for a simple bios file in order to get my main laptop working again, but after a while trying to figure out what the hell was going on, i'm quite concerned that it would be worse than i tought. I was fooling around with Mr. Smokeless's UMAF BIOS mod, looking for a way to enable CSM compatibility and legacy boot on my device.

by ThemiI have this laptop a dell XPS 13 9310
Power on is ok, stuck at dell logo flashing 2 amber and 4 white (link dell service manual) 2,4 Memory or RAM (Random-Access Memory) failure
I believe this is the spec from using micron tool to decode marking
Images of the ram
I am thinking to replace but wondering if there is a possibility to test while in circuit to find the faulty module? I am doubting there is any reasonable test possible while in circuit as most ram ICs I have tested previously, I have done while off board / removed.
