    Toshiba 32LV67U backlight problem

Hello . I am working with Toshiba 32LV67U. Tv has backlight in 2 second then black out.I tested every lamp
It shows light. I do not know problem is in lamp or inverter. Inverter has ic SEM2006. I try to defeat protection of this ic but I can not.
I have schematic of this ic. Pin 5(det) pin 8(feedback) pin 10(ovp).

You have stable 24V going to inverter?
    Is BLON stable?

Any chance you can upload a JPEG? I can't open that file.

Can we see the picture of YOUR board? And closed up pictures so we can see the labeling at the connector. The picture you posted is low res, not good enough to troubleshoot.

Again, that is just too small to work with. It needs to be at least twice as big, preferably even bigger.

OK, on the inverter transformer, make the bottom left pin as pin 1, so pin 4 is the right bottom. For the top row pins, top left is pin 8, so take the resistance read of pin 8 & 7, 6 & 5. Do the test on all 3 transformers, and report the reading, make sure to tell us if the reading is in Ohm, K Ohms, or M Ohm.

Today I install another inverter I got it from ebay. TV still black out after 2 seconds flashing. All transfomers of new board have good reading ohm

I replaced the keyboard and the ITE KBC chip and the problem is still the same. I don't see any passive elements that look damaged. Does anyone have an idea?

hello I have a backlight problem on this TV, if I unplug the cn201 cable the backlight works perfectly and the voltages are 13v if I connect the cn201 cable the backlight goes off and the voltage drops to 12v, I assume it's a motherboard problem, the question is has anyone had a similar problem? I want to understand if the motherboard is repairable or it's not worth wasting time...

                                  Hello Guys,

I received Toshiba Qosmio X755 that has a charging problem and I'm stuck trying to figure out the problem.

                                  - When battery is unplugged i works without any problem.
                                  - When I plug in the battery after plugging in the charger, it works correctly and the battery is charging.
                                  - When I plug in the charger after inserting the battery, it stops working. ( voltage dropped and consumed 8A, reaching the maximum capacity of my bench power supply for 5 seconds, and stop working after )

Can you help me diagnose the problem? I have attached...

                                  Hello,

I have this All-in-one PC, after SSD change there is no picture. I was found out it is a backlight problem, but LEDs are OK. There is 4 led strings each working on 42,4V, but from board is comming only 5V.

I was repaired many backlights before but this design i will not understand.

For me it looks like it is waiting for some signal from screen to start up the backlight or something like this. Nothing seems to be damaged or shorted here.

Can someone explain me please what to do, what to check?

                                  Thanks....

i have one acer Nitro 5 without backlight on my desk.

                                  Mainboard model: LA-L031P GH53Z REV 1B

Attached schematics and boardview are REV 1A, slightly different as REV 1B.

Repair history: customer cleaned dust and changed thermal paste, shortly after that there was no light

Notebook boots without problem and shows only image without backlight, HDMI output working. Optical inspection done, no burned or broken components. Tested also with a new display module....
