OK, at this point we will require you to remove the cover off the rear of the TV and take a detailed picture of the chassis layout and perhaps one of each board. Then we can indicate where to make tests.Leave a comment:

Hi all,
I've got a problem with the above LCD TV and I am hoping someone can help.
To explain the problem:
Powers on.
Screen powers and can access source to choose HDMI 1
Picture shows and get sound for about half a minute or so then no picture but still have sound.
After research (days of it as there's not much about on that TV) I came to the conclusion it was the inverter board as I am getting a steady 24v on all 5 of the power leads from the power board to the inverter and also getting a steady 3v on the 2 white wires to the inverter.
After replacing the inverter I had it running for about 15 mins and all was well BUT then I powered down the TV to put the shield and the back on, lay it down and thought 'lets check it one more time' so plugged it back in and turned on and the problem started again and keeps happening.
Any ideas on what the problem could be please.

For some reason I'm just not going to let this 19" TV defeat me. I guess because I have a schematic to work from I feel like I'm oh so close.
History- while adding a turn-on circuit I let a small screw roll under the power board. Worked through all of that circuitry, probably replacing a MOSFET and PWM controller that were not bad but I was following the service manual. Finally figured out that the power supply is in working order when the inverter section (for the backlights) is disconnected. When the +12 supply to the inverter is disconnected the +12 and +5 will come up... -
Hi all,
hopefully someone on this board has an idea on how to begin with troubleshooting this problem.
The monitor AOC AGON AG273QCG (curved 27" QHD monitor) has problems refreshing every 1 to 2 seconds or so. A line appears in the middle of the screen and the lower half of the screen is shifted to the right.
See attached picture.
I am leaning towards an issue with bad soldering of the graphics chip, because the problem used to go away after some time (minutes) but now it is here to stay.

Hello, I came here after finding some similar questions asked on other monitors and hope someone here can help me get an ancient Viewsonic VP230mp (23" 4:3 LCD) back to working condition.
First a little background, I have a background in computer and electrical engineering, and I'm smart enough to know I know nothing about LCD displays and how they work. For this topic I'm as green as they come.
When the display is turned on the viewsonic logo displays in the uppper left for 2 seconds then the screen goes black, the power LED is green (on) and when a computer is connected... -
Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.
The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.
Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.
First replacement T-con:
I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)... -
