I'd say you have a faulty panel - can't be fixed economically.Last edited by capkid; 04-27-2013, 12:35 PM.

I'm not really familiar with your model (in truth I kind of specialise in LCDs so if anything I say sounds stupid or inapplicable I do apologise).
The LCD TVs I repaired that had single coloured vertical lines, it was simply a case of cleaning the connectors on the ribbon cables that attached the T-con board (plasma equivalent would be logic board) to the screen driver board. I pulled those ribbon cables out, used a rubber (that's an eraser not a condom) to scrub the metal contacts on each end then reseated them and - hey presto!
Hope that helps.

Plasmas are not equivalent to LCDs when it comes to screen issues, but cleaning contacts wouldn't hurt. I doubt it will make a difference, though.Last edited by capkid; 04-27-2013, 01:00 PM.

You have a C series Samsung. Also happens to B and D series. Very common, not repairable. The panel is bad.
Basically on any type of display a single or few pixel wide line is a bad panel. Repeating patterns are rarely bad panels. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!
