So...do a search, take a look on YouTube this is a common problem. There are 9 capacitors offered on Ebay to repair this board when the capacitors are showing signs of bulging. Some show the board with the capacitors in fine looking shape .
Unfortunately there are no posts or when a YouTube tutorial is given show the end result that this does solve the problem or does it? I have searched and searched, but no results about the end result.
Does any one have experience with this board ?
I understand 1: Capacitors discolored or bulging
The next are to see if there is a short or loading of the next boards
2: Disconnect the Y-sustain board, the large board to the left, it also powers the Z -sustain board, the large board to the right.
3: Disconnect the other connectors one at at a time 3 in total
.
Always remove the power cord from the tv each time to reduce the hazard of a shock, do not remove connectors while powered to reduce the chance of shock to yourself or the boards...right!
This is a 2006 model from what i have read, with older models the power supply does shut down if you remove the connectors.
