The X-main is the only board that uses Ve. A missing Ve would cause a poor picture, but you should still be able to see the image.

the missing ve voltage is all i've got to go on at the moment

not sure what you mean, i can see the screen change colour if thats what you mean from off to on, you can see the screen turn on

So probably main board but possible control board or fuse on address buffers.
May be that old 480p panel does not use Ve.

time to give up then?

i can't see why they'd stick the stock voltages on a sticker with all the others including the VE though

havent since replacing the control board managedf to get it to stay on like i did a few days ago, can't find a main board cheap or in stock so looks like another to get rid of

I can't sell these plasmas (480p or so) for more than about £60 anyway, so I do not bother fixing them.
