Samsung la46mb1bdx/xsa full screen coloured lines

I have this Samsung LA46MB1BDX/XSA lcd tv and it has a problem with coloured lines all over the screen.
I was given this tv by a freind when it had the click of death, I replaced the caps and had to reset the eprom before I got it going. It has worked beutifully for about a year untill one day when I turned it on the screen was just full of verticle very thin coloured lines. There is no sound and no picture behind them. After it was obviouse that it was not going to get better I swapped it out for the old 40 inch lcd that I had spare. This tv has now died and I have not figured it out yet.
I plugged the Samsung back in and it worked perfectly, only problem is that if you turn it off it goes back to the coloured lines next time it is turned on. If you unplug it for atleast 12 hours it will work just fine when turned on.
I have been searching all the forums but cannot seem to find one that is just like mine so I wondered if anyone could help me please.
I am an amateur at fixing these this but have been fixing anything and everything since I was a kid, I don't know a lot about LCD tv's.

Re: Samsung la46mb1bdx/xsa full screen coloured lines

Ok, well I have now replaced all the caps on the power board thinking that maybe the ones I used before could have been a problem, no changes though.
I was wrong, there is sound when the coloured lines are on the screen. I thought it might also be a t-con issue as I have read about this board causing similar issues but I figure that if it works perfectly provided that I plug it into power just before I want to use it then this board should be ok.
The issue is caused only by the unit being in stand by for more than 10 minutes or so. I can turn it off and then back on and it is ok but if I leave it plugged in then it's no good again.
I could really use some help with this as I would like to fix it if it's possible.
    Thanks

I've repaired an LE40R81 (I think), which is a similar set. A voltage regulator was bad on the T-con causing the same symptom.

Thanks for that, I will pull it apart and have a look at it. First I need to do some reading so that I will know what I'm doing.
        Cheers

          Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
          by jeyoung12
          Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...

          Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
          by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

Samsung QE50Q60TAU - Horizontal screen lines
          by Runlinc
Hi everyone, the tv was in a continuous reboot cycle. To get the best screen image i can I taped the VGH and VSS pins on the left side buffer board joining ribbon.

I am left with a good image apart from the black horizontal lines that I cannot get rid of.

I cannot find anything on the buffer boards that has shorted.

Do you think there is anything i can do to eliminate the lines, or are they caused by an internal panel short and the image cannot be impoved.

          Many thanks for your assistance

samsung galaxy ao2s very temperamental after screen replaced
          by Chrissygizmo
Hi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...

The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...

Samsung LH82QENELGC/EN Help needed - Static line on screen
          by Kiberge
          HI guys!

I've got a Samsung LH82QENELGC/EN with a problem and need some advice and I hope this is the forum to use?
I'm from Norway so I'd like to apology in advance if my description of the fault is kind of simple or the names on the components are way off. 😊

the TV is powering up, working as normally and picture is all good, except a 1.5-inch-wide vertical line of snow/static across the screen.

This TV is a Signage Display/Public Display version and it's been used at my work for 4-5 years showing commercials 24/7. The fault occurred when...
