the one I used was the 399 5982 and my TV came to life so you must have a different problem

the symptom sounds the same. .. red light on plus click but no response to touch sensor or remote... did it have a bulged blue capacitor? if so is that the one you replaced? Did you make sure to double check your soldering? all cables connected? it was a quik ez fix for me..

when the blue cap fails its noticeably buldged on one end if its not then there's a good chance it did not fail and that is not your problem and yes the replacement is black... most of these tvs fail do to the blue cap.. but your seems to have a different issue

lol those are capacitors too... well at this point you're going to have to open up the TV and start doing some testing on the boards hopefully you have a DMM so you can check all the outputs from the power supply

lol ok well yeah you would need some testing equipment to go further the only thing you can do right now it is to take good clear pictures of the chassis's and all the boards where we can read the numbers and post em up

when you first open up to TV and you step back and you look at it and you see all the boards sitting on that metal framing that metal framing is the chassis so step back take a look at it take a picture of it and then start taking close up pictures of the boards

I think one person here fixed theirs and the op didn't , possible that the EEPROM needs replaced.

                                            Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

                                            Hi everyone,

I am dealing with the problem of turning on and off my Dell e7470 notebook.

The battery charge light is solid white, I press the button, the power indicator and the light on the button are solid for 1-2 seconds and immediately turn off.

The system does not turn on, there is no post.

I removed the RAMs and changed them, changed the battery, RTC battery, AC adapter, removed them and waited, tried again, it does not turn on.
The problem continues in the same way.
I tried to turn on the Fn key, nothing came to the screen....

First time posting here ... my name is Kevin but my friends call me Journey.
I have a Samsung 75" LCD model UN75RU8000FXZA that I don't remember the original fault other than it wouldn't power up anymore.
After it sat for many month's I decide to look at it again. The motherboard seemed to have power regulation issues. After much fussing I decided to just get a new MB.
It came a few days ago and I installed it now just cycles the power relay on and off ... when on the backlights light up and then dim and then relay kicks off and the whole things starts again....

                                            Hitachi Power Supply Unit Interchangeability
                                            by navagator
I have a Hitachi 57F710E rear projection set with a bad power supply board. I've tried to fix it with help from this forum as well as another one, but without success. Today I found a Hitachi rear projection set for sale on Facebook that looked just like mine. After contacting the seller I found out it was a 51F510. According to the service manuals my set uses a HA01312, POWER UNIT DP4X-DM_24W and the 51F510 uses a HA01313, U901, POWER UNIT DP4X_24W.

Does anyone know if these 2 power supply boards are interchangeable?

                                            Thanks.
