What voltages do you measure on each pin, red probe on pin and black on chassis?

Not really sure what the first few wordings are on the IC.

Two pins does not have a voltage as in the second edited picture.

It looks like it is a fixed regulator since I do not see the two resistors for setting the output voltage. Can you take the resistance reading between pin 1 (bottom pin as hsown in your pictures) and ground?

Looks to me like adjustable type set to 1.25V by grounding the adjust pin. You can even see a 1.25V labelling.

The resistance reading on pin 1 (top most pin as viewed in the picture) is around 1 Mega ohm.

My apologies on the earlies posting, in which the voltage reading of IC 108 is wrong. Could not access the bottom side of the mainboard properly. The correct reading on the tab of IC 108, AP1117 is 2.73 volts with respect to ground.

The voltage I'm getting at B1.25VD point is 2.73 volts. Looks like IC 108, AP1117 is faulty?

2.7V (instead of 1.25V) may well have damaged something like a processor, so you might need a new board :/

Hurray................ Finaly i solved my problem.... I found a post somewhere on the net that by just heating the metal casing for the microprocessor will turn on the set, and i did the same. It worked fine. Then i opened the case and checked. Nothing found wrong. So i heated up all the component inside the casing one by one and finally got the culprit. An electrolytic capacitor of 100 mf/ 16v. Just replaced the same and everything is fine now....

                          Hi Shaju,
I do have the same problem on my TV.
There are 3 caps with value 100 mf/ 16v (close to IC 707 inside the metal casing).
can you tell which one you have replaced?

You need to remove them then use the cap tester that can at least do the capacitance and ESR measurement, or just install the proper new caps.

I have installed the New caps (all three) and it is working properly.
It was very difficult for me to remove them using a normal solder iron.
Used the hor air soldering and replaced them .

When I took the Tv to authorized service center , they informed Mother board is fault and need to replaced totally. But the issue was resolved just by replacing 3 caps inside the metallic enclosure for LA22A350C1 (in few $5).
                                    Thanks for the post.

Hi.. Anyone here still have this TV model or just really clear picture of the mainboard? I need ic6004 number on the top of mainboard, I think the repairmen that try to fix my TV just remove that ic and not replacing with the new one, now I don't know what model number for that ic any help would be appreciated

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                            Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

                                            Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

                                            Hi

Picked up another TV. Samsung UN43NU6950FXZA. No power and no standBy led on. Removed back cover and:
                                            Main fuse = OK
Back light LED = OK. Power them with aux power source
                                            LED output = OK 156V
I do get 12 V DC out of the power supply going to the digital section but no 5V or 3.3V. PS_on voltage is only 1.8V. I have looked everywhere on the PCB , I could not find i reference for 5V output.
Also removed connections to panel, speakers and remote but no luck. One strange thing is that even with the LED power supply working, backlight LED do not turn on...

                                            Hi All,

                                            Need help.

I have a samsung un60j620dafxza led tv. When I plug it in it has no display, no sounds, and no standby lights.

So I opened the tv and disconnected the power to the mainboard and the backlight powered up. This according to many people says that this is a mainboard
problem. I checked the voltage coming from the stb and I read 1.3 volts on pins 1,3,5 and 7 which are low volts instead of 13 volts which i think the lcd panel
might be drawing too much power from the power supply that it prevents the right voltage going to the mainboard....
