LG 37LC2DB...Inverters ??

I have just purchased this, the symptoms given were Sound OK,no vision !!
On setting up,there was no sound, no Baclight action at all,HOWEVER as I live in a different area,I accepted that,and the original Owners comment,ref the Sound.
Measuring the Power supply outputs, I had a ON signal of 3.4v, and 24v going to both the Inverter boards.I am confident therefore that Either the Master Or Slave is faulty !!! or both !!. Caps and fuse etc look ok on both.Is there any way to detemine which is faulty ??

Is there an INV_ON pin as well? Also, you should be able to compare the transformers secondaries resistance to see if one of them is bad.

Not as far as I can see,, there is one marked I-C,and that only goes to the Master ?

I'm looking at the manual and see these pins labeled for the Power section:

1: AC_DET
2: RL_ON/Power On
3: 5VST
4: GND
5: VaVs/INVERTER ON
6: 5V_DET/ERROR OUT
7: 3.3V ON / BRI CTRL
8: 5VST
9: GND
10: NC/PWM DIMMIN
11: 6V
12: GND
13: 3.3V ON

Do you have these labels? If so, let's see what each one reads with the set powered up.

Unfortunately nothing like that I'm afraid.there are two connectors for the inverters and three others for Power,and on their labelling they all test as they should.I have found a Service manual, and will Download that and see what it says. Many thanks for the help.

Can we see the good clear pictures of the inverter boards and close up in the area of the connectors?

Sorry no can do, have partially put it back together, while I sort 2 monitors and a Sharp 32" tv.
