    Samsung PN59D8000FF Panel Problem

I have little doubt that this is unrepairable, but I wonder what sort of failure it might be...

    Thanks for your opinions!

Well, uhm, that's a new one... Never seen that before. I'd guess a Y-buffer problem. Doesn't look like the panel's bad to me.

I have not seen this in person, I was sent a picture. When I look closely at the black area, I almost swear I can see a crack in the glass.

You're right. I can too. It looks like part of the panel has de-gassed. I wouldn't touch it, as it's not repairable. Most panels go completely dark when the glass is cracked, though. That's very odd.

Samsung UN65TU8000 - Panel Issue [ hole in ribbon cable ]
          by NWArkGuy
Well, I will be the first to admit that I screwed up...

In attempting to replace the backlight in a UN65TU8000, I made a hole through one of the ribbon cables between the board that runs along the bottom of the back of the TV and the panel. This lead to a between a 1/4 to 1/2 inch vertical stripe running the full height of the image.

I don't have the experience; personally, to solder a bridging wire for the paths that were cut. So, I have been on the hunt for other Samsung TV's of similar size.

I have 2 that I have found and have in my possession. ...

Mi TV 4 Pro-Samsung Panel LSC550FN20 - Video problem, backlight and Audio works fine.
          by SolarFlare
          Hi,

My barely 3 year old TV has stopped displaying video, although the video output comes for a few seconds after turning ON which displays the manufacturers logo then shows the home screen (all this with some blue flicker) then the video goes blank and the screen is dark blue with the backlight on. The audio output works perfectly and the TV also takes in voice commands(smart TV).

The TCON board has the following Chips -
          Samsung VTU63A0
          RT6939 - 2nos.

and all these chips are getting real hot within a minute, I dont know if this is normal....

Display problem on a Samsung U28E590D
          by Neptune06
          Hello,

I have a display problem (bad size and color) on a Samsung U28E590D and i'm wondering if someone have access to the service manual for this monitor. I used a faulty Lenovo thunderbolt hub connected to it and now i suspect a problem on the HDMI part of this monitor. The main PCB board part number is: BN94-10748G.

          Thanks for your help.

          Samsung QE50Q67T bootloop problem
          by Roccolade
          Hey everyone.

I have a Samsung QE50Q67TAUXXC (same as Q60T i think) which is experiencing constant bootloop. The picture comes on at first but then it begins to reboot again and again. I tried taping off the pins one by one on the ribbon-cable connecting the two panels at the bottom - and found that the bootloop stops when 1st pin from the left is taped off and the same if the 46th is taped off. (See picture). But unfortunately, I get no image on the screen in those cases.
The bootloop also stops when the whole right side is disconnected. Which makes me believe the problem...

I want to put panel from Samsung Q6F tv into a KS8000

I want to put panel from Samsung Q6F tv into a KS8000.
The panels are 65L1MU0QK and 65L1AU0QN. Is there any chance this will work? I checked the service manuals for both series and the pin outs for the panel cables to motherboard are identical.
