Visio VW42L HDTV10A Half Screen Distortion

I'm trying to figure out why the right half of this screen is distorted. below is a list of what I've done so far and still no change to the picture on the right half of the screen, any suggestions you can give would be greatley appreciated. I'm really stumped.....
    • Reseated ribbon cables to TCON board
    • Cleaned ribbon cables with eraser
    • Checked tab bonds to the screen by gently pushing with an eraser with the screen on
    • Replaced TCON board with used one from Tri-State Module Inc.
    • Replaced ribbon cables with known good ones from another set

Can you please post a picture of the TV Screen with it turned on so we can see what this distortion looks like? Does it have this same distortion with all inputs that you are using? such as...Cable TV Coax hooked up, DVD Player, HDMI, etc.

Thanks for the response MisterD. Attached are the pics you requested, and yes the distortion is the same no matter what hook up it uses. and the distortion is on exactly half of the screen "right side" this is what made me think a bad/loose cable on the tcon, or bad bond on the tabs, and when that all checked out is when I replaced the tcon.

TD Systems K50DLG12US half black and half white screen
            by Raulnn
good night! I have this screen that looks half black and half white. the tcon gives a low vgh value (5-6v). the rest seem fine. I first removed the flex from one half of the panel and then the other. Removing the left, vgh increases it to 25-26v. I think the problem is in that area, but there are not many elements on the integrated controller board. there are no shorted capacitors. could they be a cof? Some help?

By the way, now the entire screen is black. Maybe some flex was not connected correctly... I have exchanged the flex and there are no variations, I don't think they are the...

Sharp Aquos LC-70C6400U Half Screen Dark
            by scubacamper
I found another post on this site the other day which has been very helpful in troubleshooting this issue I am having with my tv. The left half of the screen is dark, and the other half is VERY slow to generate it's image - and it only generates part of its image at that.
Based on this yt video, I have narrowed it down to an issue (short?) on the left side of the display, somewhere in the system of ribbon cables.
when I remove the bezel and the rear cover, I can get the image to display correctly by manipulating the ribbon cables on the left side which connects the left lower display...

LG 55UH6150- trouble powering up, then half lit screen (pictures!)
            by valvashon
The 55" LG has been in the basement for a few months without being used. Turned it on yesterday, set came on as it should and showed a complete screen for about 5 seconds (was on a broadcast channel but no antenna was connected), then the screen went mostly dark with about 1/3 of the screen on the right lighting up with brighter lines in that lit part (sorry, no pictures of that). Power LED was cycling too, preventing the TV from fully powering up.
Pulled the back off, all boards looked OK. Pulled the LED connector, turned the set on to see if it would power up but I don't belive it...

Bad panel or bad mainboard? Visio E601i-A3

Tv powers on and input is able to be selected/used, but the on screen menu closes as soon as it is opened and the there are some periodic "glitches" of the on screen menus in relation to position and size. I have tried all the system resets, but because the menus are not usable, i was unsuccessful. Does this seem like a panel issue? Odd that it only affects the menus and not the main input picture. I have already tried disconnecting front panel buttons assuming one was stuck down causing the input to continually be scanned or similar.
