TC-50PX24, 10 Red Blinks, Plz help

    Hi all,
Troubleshooting this Panasonic with the 10 red flashes / blinks - an error code.
The attached diagram I found in another post and when using it I get all the way to one of the last steps that says:
'Disconnect A1. Plug in the TV and press the Power switch'.
When I do this I get nothing, I mean nothing at all, no clicking no lights no flashing.
The next question states: 'Does the TV shut down with 10 blinks'.
But when it doesn't even turn on of course it can't shut down. But if forced to choose an answer I guess it would be No since there is no shut-down of any kind.
It then indicates that I need to replace the K board, is that the tiny one by the power switch that has the remote sensor on it too? Is that really the problem?
I'm not really convinced, and I cannot find that board anywhere...

    Help :-)

    Dan

PS: I switched the a-board cuz I had one sitting but that didn't change anything.

After reconnecting everything and turning it on, did you have 15v at pin 7 like it asks?

This guy has this repair tip for some Panasonic plasma tvs, your tv is not in the list of the tvs that apply but your board may be similar to the one in the video... watch it:

If you think service manuals would help you, I can get you for TC-50PX14 and TC-50PX34, but not 24 (but probably should be the same)

Is the "K" board the one with buttons on it? Or does it have IR too -- maybe you need to use remote control...

            10 blinks Condition Troubleshooting
            1.
            Missing/Shorted F_STB_15V, SUB9V, SUB5V, and BT30V
            2.
Wrong diagnostic by the A board
Since the Sub voltages are only present after the power has been turned on, there will not be a 10 blinks condition at plug-in for the 2009 models.
These 3 conditions can cause the TV to shutdown and the power LED to blink 10 times
To troubleshoot a PDP TV that is shutting down and the power LED blinks 10 times:
 Find out if 15V is output at pin 7,8,or 9 of connector P6 of the P board. If no voltage is output, the P board may be defective.
 If the F_STB_15V voltage is OK, it’s likely that the A board is bad

have you checked step one for all the proper voltages? if not check them. last one i had with 10 blinks was missing the sub 9v and sub 5v.

              Micro Momentary Push Switch?
              by Natob82
Great to be here! I'm a newbie here trying to find a "micro", momentary push switch to repair a Sony "clamshell" video walkman. This micro switch has long since discontinued by Sony, however I hope there are third-party switches of the same size and functionality that I might be able to source to play the same role. The purpose of this switch is to tell the video walkman that the user has activated the mechanical tape eject button, turning that physical action into an electronic signal that tells the tape transport mechanism to open so one can load or eject a video tape. I...

NEC TurboExpress On/Off Power Switch Replacement Help
              by grimacelord
              Hello,

I've been working on a NEC TurboExpress and I accidentally got the plastic inside the power ON/OFF switch too hot while doing other repairs and melted it. At first, it would still power on when sliding the switch, but you had to really press inward while sliding to get it to work.

I removed the switch component and tried to gently melt the plastic back so it would work more reliably and all I managed to do was make it worse.

I need to find a replacement On/OFF switch for this, but having some trouble figuring out which kind of switch I need....

Help making a switch work the opposite way with a relay
              by SluggerB
I have a very small float switch, I'm using in a very small tank. It only fits in one way. Link https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-Switch.../dp/B07DZ1J2GB

I want the switch to be open when the water is high, and closed when the water is low. Unfortunately it works the opposite. And since this switch is designed to be underwater, it's all sealed up, there is no taking it apart or hacking it up.

It will be driving a water pump, basic idea, when the water is low, switch closes, which turns on water pump, when enough water is in the tank, float switch floats,...
