stubborn black pin connectors on X board Samsung PN58B560T5F

Here is another probably ignorant question... the black pin connectors on the X board that go to X Buffers ( there are 4 of them) are very hard to pull apart. Am I missing some release. I do not want to force apart? and break something. Is there a trick to releasing or disconnecting the big black block pin connecters - attaching one board to another?

    Thank you

For those type, if I am thinking of the right ones, they are just pushed in (they might have a small groove for staying in) but there should be no snap. They are stubborn to get out because they are just firm connectors and there are 4. I usually take a large flat-head and start at one end and go down and just loosen each one little by little until it wants to come out (there should be a small space in-between the 2 circuit boards that are connected that you can put it in).
You may have to work at it a little bit for you do not want to damage the PCB.

Thank you ... sir. I thought that might be it, but there is nothing worse than forcing something and having it break I have gotten the jumping up and down ... over such a mistake ... pretty practiced over the years. In this case... practice never makes perfect... thanks to both you and Tom for having the time to help.

      Sincerely,

      Rob
