I don't know many repair men who have your knowledge of flat panel tv's tom, how long have you studied these things and do you have tuition from any close family members or students etc on how these things work, do you learn much from reading books on the subject. Can you repair crt tv's as well. Your articles are very good to say the least.

I know a few, but it turns out LCD/plasma repair is mostly board-swapping nowadays, nobody really does component level repair (apart from a few shops)

Close to two years. My third TV was a plasma and that got me addicted.

Yes, plus I read up on patents and service manuals.

Can you repair crt tv's as well.

I got hold of an old 42" rear projection CRT set but that ended up in the dumpster in pieces. No CRT repairs.
