Panasonic TNPA 5105 SC boards.
Could any one please advise me if the TNPA 5105 Sc boards from a 46 inch or 42 inch Panasonic Plasma will work in the 50 inch Panasonic plasma. -

I have just done a few quick tests and found the resistance across the SC board power connection is 12 ohms , the reading across the SS board power connector is around 1 .3 Meg Ohm. Does this seem too high a resistance across the SS board supply ?Leave a comment:

When this Tv is switched on the relay is heard to click , the tv won't come to life , the front LED flashes 4 times. -

A few pictures of the board. X - Main seems to have been incorporated into the PSU. My phone camera sucks , I can't get good pictures. I will get me some battery's for my Digital Camera asap....

The VS supply to the Y main board is showing short circuit. I have disconnected Y-main but the short circuit is still there.Leave a comment:

This is dead and flashing 2 blinks on the front LED . Does anyone know what this fault may be. -

Check diode D352 on the power supply board it may be short circuit.

I just repaired a dead xenius tv the, exact same model yesterday , re-capped all of the power supply board , most of the electrolytic caps read bad on my Capacitor & ESR Meter.
The picture quality on these sets is not too good though. The plastic frame of the telly is real flimsy poor build quality too.Leave a comment:

I have been looking at the connector pins on P7201 for the BL-ON pin , i can't make out which pin should be sent high to turn on the lights.

I have decided to salvage all good parts off this tv and scrap it.

There is 56 . 2 Volts at both sides of the fuse , i have measured the voltage as far as JA102 this is a wire link on the same rail as the fuse. The fuse appeared to have a solder crack where it is soldered to the board , i have resoldered it but the set remains no go.Leave a comment:
