Hi everyone, when plugged I hear a click then get very little " white noise " on the screen. then I hear the startup chime then another click, the a solid white " bar " about 5 inches wide appears on the screen going up and down.

This last for about 3 seconds then the screen turns on " red static " with a bar running across the screen. the green led2 is constantly blinking ( see picture)

Tested all fuses glass type and SMF all ok.
checked all connections.

Dont know were to go from here? firmware?

Did you try to use different inputs, different video sources, or different cables?

Does the menu for the TV work?

Might be an issue with the x/y boards, user 'tom66' will know...

Y-buffer very likely. This TV combines the Y-buffer and Y-main into one board.

This problem is never "alone" X/Y-main (unless buffer is integrated); those boards only make the panel light up and can't cause this problem.

Unfortunately you will likely need to replace the whole Y-main board.

Thanks Tom66 I just found the controls. the sound does work. and I can tell the menu does come up. had it on a local channel I can tell the picture is working. i can detect a hint of movement on screen. so it needs a new y-main? " big board on left " y sustain?

Y-sustain (LG) == Y-main (Samsung) == SC (Panasonic)
