Magnavox 32MF338B/27 Turns Off After a few Seconds

It turns on fine at first, shows something like "high definition TV"
at the bottom, then flashes the channel very briefly, and then the screen
goes blank, while the front LED is left blinking.

So the screen and inverter are working fine for certain.

I tested most of the power supply caps and diodes, and they all
appear to be fine. This is an unusually board, in that the inverter
is integrated with the power supply:

You can see kind of a burn mark in the second picture (to the right of the second transformer
from the top), but when I measured the
MOSFET on the back of the board that was under the burnt area, it seemed to
measure fine with a diode test on the DMM.

If anyone is familiar with this set, please advise......

    thanks.....

It's a self oscillating supply, no controller chips here! All pure transistors, caps, resistors, etc.! We seem to be seeing a lot of these. Check the power supply outputs around those diodes. Screen stays lit?
Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

The screen doesn't stay lit, because it switches back to standby.

It's harder to troubleshoot something like this, because there are
no definite test points.....bad design in that sense.

Anker SoundCore 2 Bluetooth Speaker Turns Off After a Few Seconds (Possibly Firmware Issue?)
        by zklgfs
        Hi,

I have an Anker SoundCore 2 (A3105) that I saved from the trash (well, I guess there's a reason why it was supposed to go into the trash...). The problem is that it always turns off after a few seconds (sometimes it stays on a bit longer, between 30 and 60 seconds, but it still turns off). The power light turns on and the bluetooth light starts blinking, but both abruptly turn off again. The "turn off sound" is still played after the lights turn off. Sometimes, it also loops the on-off cycle several times without me pressing any buttons. If I connect an AUX cable, music...

Lenovo Legion 5 high fan spin turns off after 34 seconds
        by twonk9098
        Hi all,

I have a Lenovo Legion 5 with a Ryzen 7 series CPU and RTX 3070 GPU. My issue is that it turns on and all seems fine except after a few seconds the fans spin up high and the laptop turns off after 34 seconds.
I can get into bios and can even boot and login to Windows however after 34 seconds no matter if Im at the bios screen or booted into Windows it will just turn off.

I have managed to run HWmonitor and the temperatures of the CPU and GPU are fine, I can also touch the heatsync which is warm but not hot.

I have tried a few new bios but exactly...

LG 23MP55HQ LED Monitor turns off after a few seconds or flickers.
        by Rick_1234
        Good evening, gentlemen.

I have a problem with my monitor. It turns off after a few seconds or flickers. Shining a flashlight on the screen doesn't show any image, so I guess it's not the "2 seconds to dark" I read in the forum.

To turn it back on, I have to press the power button twice. Then after a few seconds it turns off again or flickers. See video.

        Hello everyone,
I need help with my Lenovo Legion laptop. It turns on for a few seconds and then immediately shuts down. I believe this is a BIOS corruption issue.
        Laptop Model:
        • Model: Lenovo Legion Slim 5 16APH8
        • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070
        • Main BIOS chip size: 32MB
        • VBIOS chip size: 16MB
Problem Description: The laptop was working perfectly. Now, when I press the power button, the keyboard lights up and the laptop powers on for just a few seconds, then it shuts itself off completely. After researching, I am convinced it's a corrupt BIOS.

Not heat related, everything is ok regarding to that.
        All voltages are present.
Wondering if this as anything to do with one wire circuit, the charger is not original, but it was working fine
