    OLEVIA 37" No Picture

Hi I am Wayne from Bunker Hill, WV, also a SnowBird
in Ocala, Fl. TV quite so I started self study for fixing it.
    HERE GOES:
Read up on a fix for the start board. Changed out two
capacitors that were visually bad. 680bf @ 35 volts.
On reassembly failed to get picture. Called TV Technician
and he couldn't the problem at first. The board would
start with 24 volts when reset with solid blue on front.
When on button pushed it would go to blinking blue light.
It would lose voltage right away.
When touching white ribbon with 4 fine lines that didn't
quite make good contact the little blue light on the blinked
As it turned out the sequence is push on button, it goes out
the little light should come on the start board. Sorry about
my terminlogy. The Ribbon cable was mean one to put back
caused the damage on the fine tin foil lines, ribbon is only
    1/4" wide.

No offense, but your sentence structure is making this difficult to understand.

The first part: are you getting 24v when there is a solid blue light? Last Olevia I worked on, a solid blue was standby (which is odd in my opinion).
You lost me at the ribbon part.

Pictures (using manage attachments feature) might help better convey your issue and your findings.
