Vizio VW46FHDTV10A possible purchase

There is this TV that I could pick up really cheap, but in the past I have burned myself with the same model TV when the panel had a bad tab.
So, now I try to be more careful in what I'm buying.
The seller states that the TV before "died" have a half black screen.
I hope that this one is not as the last 37" Samsung that I have picked up, that had the burned gamma processor.

Are TVs with simple power supply problems becoming rarer and rarer? I seem to be able to get hold of plenty. I like to stay away from screen problems unless I have a good idea what the problem will be.

You are right, I'm the same way and these days it seems like there are TVs only with screen issues.
I have these two 46" nice TVs and I'm scared to buy them.
