How to repair tvs/monitors struck by lightning?

Lightning struck tvs. There are rarely any visually damaged components, and most of the time the tvs don't exibit usual power board problems (blinking lights, codes).

What is the best way to go about repairing the power boards or to start the diagnosis process?

Get your DMM and see where the voltages stop going through the board. Check after each component.
Do NOT touch heatsinks when testing for voltages as they may be LIVE!

The AC input of the power supply will usually has surge protection devices after the main AC fuse which will cause the fues to blow if surge comes through the AC power input, but if the surge comes through the antenna input, most of the time will wipe out the main board.
So right now you are not getting any indicator lights?
