Re: SAMSUNG PLASMA TV HP-T4264 Power Supply Replacement
I did not know plasma TV supplies were rated in watts. What is the fault with your PSU - maybe it is repairable? Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: SAMSUNG PLASMA TV HP-T4264 Power Supply Replacement
As long as the outputs are the same, it shouldn't be a problem. The wattage is most likely in reference to power consumption, or in other words the second one is less efficient.
BUT, I would let tom help you to work on your existing power supply, definitely a lot cheaper to do so and helps other people with the same problem.Comment

Re: SAMSUNG PLASMA TV HP-T4264 Power Supply Replacement
These have been verified to work with the set alternatively to 61a
BN44-00159A
BN44-00188A
The 90A I'm not sure, It is meant for the 50" as tom said but try your luck with those.
THOUGH, the 61a can be used for the 50" versionLast edited by drpj23; 09-20-2012, 04:25 PM.Comment

Continuous clicking usually points to Y- or X-main fault, not PSU. Did you try isolating the sustains and seeing if it still clicked? Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: SAMSUNG PLASMA TV HP-T4264 Power Supply Replacement
I have had a 50" that did this and it turned out to be PSU dry joints on a bank of FETs as well. What bits did the kit cover?Comment

by lp20thI have a vintage 2008 Samsung 50” Plasma TV, Model code PN50A550S1FXZA with a power supply part number BN44-00222A. I repaired the power supply board several years ago finding a couple of cold solder joints on the back side of the board and it's worked great up until now. Recently a fried sound occurred with the smell of burnt electronics and the TV shut down. Trying to turn it back on yielded the typical relay clicking with no TV boot up. Upon investigation, removing feeds to the other boards within the TV it was found that disconnecting the logic board from the power supply allowed the...

by r2digitalI have a klipsch kda-500 that would turn on and allow me to get into the web management but it was picking up a lot of noise from audio sources so i decided to replace the smd caps on the power supply along with radial one. Some one was in here before me and they basically burned the bottom side of the traces off for the radial cap but i was able to repair it without any real problem. I thought i did a good job sourcing out replacement caps but apparently not and now i can't get the power supply to turn on it just constantly try's to keep turning on. Attached is a picture of the power supply before...2 Photos

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by cheeky2This Samsung combined power supply and inverter was replaced a while ago from a Samsung 37inch LE37B530P7W TV. However I would like to repair this one.
I have replaced the Mosfets Q1820 and Q1821 ( FDPF7N50U) which were both blown and the fuse FM802S. The schematic for this power supply that is attached doesn't relate to this power supply as the driving transistors and diodes are D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 are nowhere on the schematic!
Does anyone know what the components for D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 should be? I ask as I did change the Mosfets... - Loading...
