Re: Samsung LN40E550 Dim Screen
I just found this model in the trash brought it home. Turned it on & all inputs but av were not recognizing, replaced main board (shop jimmy) I now have input (HDMI etc) but screen goes dim then flashes off. P-dim pin 2 on power supply voltage stepped down from power up 3.8 vdc (full bright) to a steady .788 vdc (really dim but not black) screen dimmed each time voltage dropped of course. I checked settings all were up max for BL, lowered to min, now its not going black or flashing is this the main board which controls BL voltage all other pinouts...

Re: Westinghouse LD-4655VX
I see this part you ordered is a 12 pin .5 wide If I remember correctly this model was 4 or 6 pin.25 wide. It might work if you cut to fit in the receptacles but needs both exact sides done on same pins without messing the others up. GL

Re: Samsung UN55B6000 horizontal lines, bad panel?
My hope was that it was good but was doubting it. I don't want to chase it with parts so selling these parts may recoup my cost of buying it. thanks for reminder of wasting on some of these this is the second one exact model, last one was easy to tell it was a tab bond issue.

Re: Samsung UN55B6000 FXZA Inverter?
I just got this model in with a double image even in menus also not picking up any inputs so aiming toward the main board has a issue & not the t-con

Re: Panasonic plasma TH-42PZ80U 2 blink 15v SOS
Unknown didn't even think they would have put them in wrong the boards were removed to do the repairs. Just looked there the same parts but possibly the ic are installed wrong? I have done 3 or 4 of these Panny's with 10 & 2 blinks really easy usually.

Re: Panasonic plasma TH-42PZ80U 2 blink 15v SOS
Well think I found the issue with the 15v supply there's a zener diode missing on my ps @ location zd202 it is tied to the mc201 board that controls the switching for the 16n55's I keep blowing, Any one know the value or the color code its marked with? As its missing. The one that is next to mc301 is red & violet striped & the body is light purple in color. Was worked on by others apparently before I got it crap.

Re: samsung hpt 5054xxaa
The light on the y sus is a fault. remove buffers & check the ysc voltage should be -190 if I remember right. a +v will blow up good buffers quickly, had one of these the transformer was bad caused it. I have 4 of these boards usually easy fix but finding cheap buffers on a 720 tough

Re: Panasonic plasma TH-42PZ80U 2 blink 15v SOS
I have this same set was 2 blink code I replaced the ic's & caps on 201 & 301, also the 16n55g's. Initially I had the screen working but it was really bright but could see the picture, all voltages were proper using mm so I adjusted brightness all the way down on the menu. 20 min on then it blew the 16n55g's again. I have no o-scope to see if the voltage is unstable or proper but a have fluke 117mm. is it possible the ic driver is bad causing the 15v to be unstable or the caps take a shot when the fet blew the first time? Ordering...

Re: LCD advice on a Phillips 40pfl7705d/f7
The screen was bad or destroyed, someone sprayed cleaner that shorted the cof's of two bonding tabs, now its parts. The idea of putting the t-con / tab bonds down lower where fluids would destroy them from cleaning the screen, design foresight hummmm? never spray on the screen just the cloth.
