    Sony KDL-32L4000 Double image

The top 2" of the screen is pefrect but below that point the screen is blurry and showing a double image. I thought this would be a bad tcon board but i got a replacement from Shop Jimmy today and it didn't correct the display. Is it possible to have a faulty tcon? Can a faulty TAB do this? I would think it would be from the top of the screen to the bottom but i haven't had a tv with a loose tab yet. Twisting the screen doesn't seem to do anything and there is no slow motion or darkness.

I am going to disassemble the panel and see if the tabs are loose. Just getting some feedback and see if i'm wasting my time. The panel is a Samsung LTY320AB01

    Thanks

Wow we are having the same issue. Is your panel underneath the good section jumpy and at times show a smeared image from what's on the top? Check out my thread. Mines an auria 32" with a Samsung LTA320AB02 panel. My good/bad line is 6" from the top. Everything under that is vertically jumpy and smeared.

Sony KD-65X7000E - Screen double images for first few minutes then back to normal
      by beetle1303
      Hi,
I have gotten this Sony KD-65X7000E TV completely dead. According to owner TV was working fine and suddenly blackout and not able to power on again.
Checked and found D751 rectifying diode shorted, replaced and now power up and working almost normally:

      1) On power up - display double images, and flicker once every few seconds.
      2) After 3-4 minutes at this state - display suddenly back to perfectly normal (although there are few horizontal lines at the bottom of screen).
      3) Leaving on for few minutes, power off and on again will repeat the same...

HP Elitebook Screen blank - backlights but no image
      by dicky96
      Hi guys
I'm trying to fix this laptop screen

Basically the owner is a computer shop and they brought it to me with two screens. They said the repair shop they use could not fix it, so I thought i would try to see if I am better than their current repairer!

OK so I have the original screen which works but has lines across the bottom quarter of the screen

I have the replacement screen, which they fitted and it worked. They then put the laptop on one side for a couple of weeks until they found a buyer. When they showed it to the buyer, the screen would...

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
      by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

Sony KD-65x7500D - double image - Tcon or Panel?
      by rimwall
This TV was showing a fine image and pulsing with a partial double image (offset vertically) every few seconds. I taped 8 clock pins on one ribbon cable from the Tcon to the panel. It stopped the double image, but some pulsing in intensity was still visible. I then taped another 8 clock pins on the same ribbon cable and the image is now ‘fixed’. Although I understand this results in some loss of resolution, presumably because the clock signal degrades as it passes horizontally across the screen.

I am wondering - do these symptoms and ‘fix’ mean that it’s a Tcon fault or...

Macbook Air M2 A2681 Kernel panics after screen replacement
      by reformatt
Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".

It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...
