Ok I have messed with and repaired alot of LCD/plasma tvs in my day but this one is confusing me. Samsung made panel and tcon with off brand mainboard. What this tv is doing is just a little before half way there is an obvious horizontal line and everything under that line is vertically jumpy, and a times double or triple or depending on what showing on the screen vertically smeared all the way down. as you can see the top good portion of the screen is smeared underneath that line. above the line, completely normal. this seems to get better and worse but never goes away.
i have watchged youtube videos showing some Sony KDL series 32" screens doing something siimilar and the dude hit the tape carriers with freeze spray, coreecting this. on this set, I have already pressed on the connectors, flexed the screen, hit tcon and mainbboard with heat, replaced lvds ribbon from tcon to panel, cecked voltages, tested regulators, etc.. Nothing makes a difference.
Have you guys seen this and corrected it before? Im of the assumption that its a tcon. This panel only uses one ribbon from tcon to panel.
Thanks,
