    Possible FLX-3202 Purchase

Here's what the guy has written to me:

"I have a 32" element model 3200, p/n: FLX-3202, LCD that either has a bad mother board or blown control fuse; (no response to any controls) the screen still comes up displaying a perfect black image or some times a band of vertical colored lines.
Let me know how much you are willing to offer for it as the board will only cost me $69 online."

Sounds like the guy is full of shit, because I've never heard of a fuse for the control section alone. And if the board will only cost him $69, and he's sure that is the problem, why doesn't he just fix it himself?

It sounds like a voltage regulator on the T-con or a blown fuse.

I avoid people who "know" what the problem is, often times they're completely wrong.
Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

It is made by the same company that makes POLAROID, they even keeps the same model number. I would not touch this TV, it may have the same chassis as this one:
