It's just an 852x480 plasma; how much did you pay for it? This chassis is made by Beko, and I think it uses LG PDP parts. Post pictures!

            Okay, Samsung PDP.

You'll have to point out the fuse for us.

If the fuse is blown on either sustain board, I would normally consider it an expensive repair. It may simply be the fuse ageing, but it is more likely a failure on the board in some way.

on the power board to the left are 2 white ceramic fuses far left, its not letting me upload the edited photo, its the one on the left thats gone, there is a repair kit that contains these and 2 big transistors, but i cant find the transistors on the board? ill up load a closer pic after ive eaten my diner

found them..... tested and there both ok, so im thinking maybe its just the ceramic thats gone....fingers crossed, if anyones got any other ideas of what to check before i order them it would be helpful

its R8010 thats blown, which is the ceramic on the left of the first pic

Common failure - seen it fail on Hitachi PDP's too.

Do you think any thing else will need changing? will be a good buy if that's all it needs

Should only be those resistors but could be a shorted fet on PSU.

fitted resistors just now, and 3 green lights on the board come on then relay clicks and the red light comes on and the 3rd green led goes out, are all the voltages on these DC i mean the feeds to the other boards?

its as if its waiting for a signal for something then when it doesnt recieve it its clicking off, the green light on the front of the tv stays on green though

Check for 170-210V Vs and 50-70V Va.

right.... im getting 5v on D5VL,
                                  15v on Vcc
                                  4v on Vs
and on Va it shoots up fast but then drops down again probably because of Vs voltage not present

                                  what should i check next?

Try testing Vs and Va without Y and Z sustains connected.

Vs and Va are independent supplies; they shouldn't influence each other.

done that and they do the same, i have noticed that one of the bigger caps 250V 1000uf looks swelled compared to the other 3 that are on the board, the tops are flat on the others

i have just been through all the diodes and transistors and they are all ok

If you can press the bulging disc down, the cap is okay. The plastic disc will sometimes bulge without the cap failing. Right now I would replace the startup cap for the Vs.
