Re: new hear need some help please

Don't use lelon caps unless you want to repeat the recap again.

The caps you need can be found at the badcaps.net store and are of much better quality. be sure to replace all of the bad branded caps.

Another note- please do not use offsite images... attach them to the post instead using "manage attachments".

(also moving the thread and fixing the title).

I would get PANASONIC caps FM/FC/FR series from Digikey instead. They should be low ESR type.

Assuming the height and diameter fit your board, the above will work fine.

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.

We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

will it make a difference if they are a little bigger or smaller other then not fitting in the space it needs to go in if it is to big

Not really. Other than mostly negligible differences in ESR, can size doesn't matter that much.

(Normally I would suggest supporting the forum and buying the caps here, but Topcat doesn't carry 2200uf 25V caps at this time).

physical size or capacitance (uf) and voltage?

for physical size - a ruler or vernier calipers - for capacitance/voltage - read the values off the old caps
