    LG RZ-26LZ50 green lines problem

    Hello all,

I've been searching the net for a possible solution to a problem with an LCD tv my dad picked up. I didn't find the solution, but i found the exact same case in some youtube videos. I'm hoping someone here can take a quick look-see and instantly figure out what it's all about :P the make and model is LG RZ-26LZ50.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0ahMo3Nxa8

this tv in the video probably has some signal trouble (which mine doesn't) as well as the green lines thing. basically, on my TV, the image is ok but after a while the green lines appear as they do in this video. i tried asking on two youtube videos if they managed to fix the TVs, but i got no response.. also i tried searching this forum and several others for the same model, but i got no results.

here is another issue i have with the same TV. when it's working ok, the picture has some light jitter. i also tried searching for this symptom but no luck so far. here on this next youtube video dealing with the same TV, the blue rectangle also has the same jitter.

maybe someone has seen stuff like this already on another TV set? it would be really swell if you'd share your experience my dad would appreciate it very much.

ps. maybe it's important to note that when my dad got the tv, the picture was really messed up. totally distorted and jumping around, like a scrambled TV channel. He managed to fix it by changing one capacitor and it was working ok until the green lines start showing. i'm not sure, but i think that sometimes it works more than an hour totally normal until the lines appear.

Solution is to replace two 47 uF SMD capacitors just above center the center of main PCB near 1.8 V stabilizer, I don't know position number, but two above each other

Old post, yes! But just want to thank rjndebruyn and lin4sm for these posts above. With instructions I fixed LG-RZ26LZ50, which had green lines and wobbly picture at start. Fixing is just replacing those two capacitors (C566 and C503) from mainboard. Here's a quick video or more or less it is a slideshow...

TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board
          by howardc64
All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
          • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
          • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

          LCD TV Green/Pink screen problem
          by jimjoe123
I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.

Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.

          Then each time...

Samsung LA46A950 aka. LN46A950 - intermittent vertical green lines / distortions
          by 265chemic
          Hi All,

I have a Samsung LA46A950 that intermittently was displaying issues with evenly spaced vertical green lines only on dark / black areas - this has progressed to more often and blue lines sometimes, as well as a little image distortion.

My initial suspicion was the T-CON board, which I took out and cleaned but the issue persists. A heat gun on all of the control boards makes no noticeable change. Ive also reseated the T-CON to panel ribbons (4 of them) and moving them while the panel is on doesn't seem to change the issue.
