    What's the replacement/equivalent to TT 2246?

I have one of those cheap TV sets with a horizontal out put transistor gone - TT2246.
    Cannot find this one anywhere.
Can I replace it with BU 508D?

I'm tempted to try a BU 508DF [plastic] - which was used in previous sets of this brand [Aim].
But maybe I burn my fingers - again!
Or tell the costumer to get rid of such a set and guy some small LCD.
If this TT2246 is similar/equivalent to 2SDs, it might work with a BU 508, too.

Failed UCC and Rubycon replacement on a Dell XPS410, equivalent?
        by DXseekerMO
Hello, I'm working on an old Dell XPS410 with burst capacitors. I'm trying to source either an equivalent replacement, or a replacement that will work. It's been suggested to me to use Poly caps as a replacement, but I have no idea what to order or what will work.

If anyone has a link to where I can buy what I need that would be even better.

These are the caps that have burst:

        Board location: C8BV, C26BV, C43BV
        Brand: United Chemi Con
        Series: KZG
        Size: 10mm dia X 25mm height
        Impedance: (ohms max/20c, 100kHz) .012
        Ripple: 2800...

Bias matching replacement transistor - Parasound 2250
        by Haaheim
        Hi guys!

I am currently working on a Parasound 2250 (class AB), which had one defective channel. Components in the signal paths have been replaced, including an output transistor (2SC3519).

According to the manufacturer, bias is adjusted by measuring 1-3mV across the output resistors. The original ones are completely fine around 1.5mV, but the replacement is not. Initially, I got a couple from eBay, assumed they were fake (they were) and was able to source a replacement locally. This exhibits similar behaviour, being around 0.6-0.8mV on its emitter resistor....

        Equivalent for A965 transistor
        by MirceaL
        Hi Guys,

I am currently working on fixing an active subwoofer and found 2 bad transistors. One is A965 and the other one is C1815.

C1815 is easy to find but A965 not so much , at least where I live (Romania).

Can anyone help me identifying an alternative / equivalent for this , A965, transistor ?
Is there an online tool / engine that I can use that could help in this ?

        Thank you
        Mircea
