Hello all. Been wandering the internet amilessly the last 3-4 days untill i found this site. I have some problems with my vizios. M420SV it turns on, the screen gets lighter, then darker, then lighter again thats it. I was going to replace the main board but hard to find. My E3D470VX has a green vertical line on the far right of the screen. No idea about that read about t-cons and invertor back light boards but when i opened it i could only see the main and power. Not digging far enough or missing something? I have checked the caps none are blown from what i can tell. Any help would be appricated.

The T-con is usually buried under a metal shield and is mounted close to the LCD panel.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Some screens have a setting to adjust your backlight according to the light there is in the room the less light the darker the screen gets you may have to disable this feature.
I am not positive weather this is the problem but I have seen it a remedy was this for me.Please note: I am not responsible for any harm caused to you anything discussed is just discussion.
