    Inverter--power on

Does the inverter power up using a voltage trigger? I'm going to use a wall wart power supply.
I can't find any info on how to proceed.
    Thanks

      Thank you retiredcaps,
I spent hours looking for that trigger info and never landed on that web site. Everything I needed was there, I can proceed now.
This forum comes through again, as always.
      Thanks again.

9v super basic wall wart issue
        by jayjr1105
This is one of those worthless and time wasting repairs but it's bugging me and I want to figure it out. Simple 9v 1a SMPS wall wart and it's bouncing between 8.2 and 9.4v without load. I've pulled out every single cap and all tested fine. I've replaced the opto and same exact issue. All diodes are testing fine. I'm not sure if the IC can cause this or if the IC had issues you wouldn't get anything at all on output....

Where to find a very small fpc connector 0.3mm between 2 pins ?
        by corrize
Hello, I search this connector (oxydated).
It's a fpc zif low profile connector. It come from camera sensor, it is very small : 0.3mm between 2 pins.
I ordered 2 from Aliexpress called « 0.3mm pitch » but one was 0.5mm between 2 pins and the other 0.6mm. In fact « 0.3mm pitch » seams to be the pad width and not the distance between 2 pins.
I can't find it. The other websites like mouser dont show the datasheet, and I can't check if it is 0.3mm between 2 pins ?

Do you know how to find this connector please ? What is the exact name for find it ?

        UC3842 Power Adapter Blowing Fuse
        by Dannyx
Good day folks......wow this new layout is weird. It's like I woke up one day and I'm no longer on Planet Earth or something

Anyway....got this here power brick from a USB to SATA adapter which keeps blowing the fuse after I almost repaired it. The reason I even bother to fix a power brick (wall wart, whatever) in the first place is because this thing was really convenient to use: I'd just plug it and that's it. It's a dual output supply, for both 12v and 5v, which although I COULD easily obtain with a DC-DC converter from a standard 12v adapter, I thought I should crack open the...
