    VIZIO 26" - VIT70063.50 Inverter Board F1 Fuse

Need help finding a replacement SMD fuse which appears to be OPEN on the VIZIO Inverter board VIT70063.50. The only marking on the fuse is 20, and the markings next to the fuse is 1A/76V. The dimensions are 3.34mm x 1.6mm and is 1.16mm thick. I did a quick search on Digi-Key but could not find a exact match with respect to the voltage. I'm not sure what would be a good replacement. Any thoughts??

    Thanks.

I'd go with Digikey 507-1077-1-ND. It's rated for 125 volts, but a higher voltage is not a problem.

      Hi PlainBill,

So the original voltage i.e. 76V, is assumed to be AC and not DC? The reason I ask is the Digikey part 507-1077-1-ND is rated at 125VAC/63VDC. I did not realize that.

I have no idea if the voltage on the original is AC or DC, but I can make some assumptions based on my experience.

        1. I have never seen a backlight inverter powered by AC.

        2. I have never seen an inverter powered by any voltage greater than 24VDC (but I DID see a schematic that indicated jumper positions for a 48VDC inverter supply.)

        3. An inverter presents a capacitive load to the power supply. Thus a sudden interruption in voltage will not create an inductive spike.

        4. The voltage rating of a fuse is the maximum voltage the fuse can interrupt. Going with a higher voltage fuse never presents a problem (provided physical dimensions are the same).

          Hi PlainBill,

Based on your assumptions, are you suggesting that the part you recommended, which is rated at 63Vdc, is adequete even though the original fuse is specified as 1A/76V?

Just want to make sure I understand.

Replaced the fuse (finally) and the TV is working. Thanks PlainBill for the help.

I know this is an old thread. But I wanted to say Thank You for the info on here and two other threads I found with google. I fixed a RCA L26HD35D with no picture. The F1 fuse 1A 76V was bad. I replaced it with a PICO 1A 125V fuse from a x-main I have. The set is fixed and on it's way back to the owner. I really like this forum. Thank You.

                    by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Looking for help with a Viewsonic VP230mb where the backlight comes on only momentarily
                    by lostone
Hello, I came here after finding some similar questions asked on other monitors and hope someone here can help me get an ancient Viewsonic VP230mp (23" 4:3 LCD) back to working condition.

First a little background, I have a background in computer and electrical engineering, and I'm smart enough to know I know nothing about LCD displays and how they work. For this topic I'm as green as they come.
When the display is turned on the viewsonic logo displays in the uppper left for 2 seconds then the screen goes black, the power LED is green (on) and when a computer is connected...

                    by Hakuu
                    Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

Got the same exact TCON board from TVPartsToday and replaced it. But didnt transfer the EPPROM data (didnt...

Panasonic TC-P54VT25 No image. A or D board?
                    by canadaboy25
I have a Panasonic TC-P54VT25 that will power on and prime the display but there is no image at all.

The panel is primed as there is a slight glow from the entire panel. This means the problem should be logic related. The service manual also confirms this and recommends replacing the A or the D board.

I have tried to get the TV to display the test sequence but I have been unable to and I don't even know if this TV has a test sequence or not. I tried following tom66's instructions in post #3 on this thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=26790. There was...
