    sanyo dp 42647

Got this today, it has the 2 seconds to black problem. There is a CMO master and slave inverter. All PS voltages are good, and no bulges caps. Any quick way to determine if it's the master or slave inverter causing the problem?noises occur when the lights go out. there is a brief picture, and audio is fine.

Test the resistance of the inverter transformer secondaries (when unplugged) with a multimeter. Note any outliers.

You may have either a few bad driver transistors, or a bad CCFL.

Can you test the transistors for shorts or opens? Also test the fuses on the board. If all of these pass, then the CCFL may be dead.

6.9 - 6K is too wide a range. They should match to within 3%. Perhaps if you post the actual readings....

              that should have been 5.9-6k.

                It was the slave inverter.

                  How did you determine this?

origanlly the backlight would come on and go off in my great ability to repair I hooked up a test light per instructed master side top 6 would only partially light slave side lit test light fine, pulled tv down to bulbs, same bulbs inside only halve lit. seems master inverter at fault tested all transformers all seem fine, pulled top transformer from master double checking test points reinstalled cleaned up all connections noted on back of master center of board dark spot, checked around that area everything on top of board seems fine, resoldered the 0 resistors plugged everything back in turned...

Vizio E55-E1 bad backlights or bad inverter?
                      by x_orange90_x
I just got this tv today and it appeared to have no backlight on. After taking off the rear cover and checking again in the dark I can see that MAYBE one quadrant is lit.. But still it's quite dim. I was going to check the LEDs with my tester, and I found LED 1 and LED 2 + pins on the wire from the inverter, but I couldn't identify a ground. Nonetheless I tried using a mounting screw on the inverter board and also the chassis as ground but regardless my tester reads 300 which is what it reads when there is no voltage draw.

I don't know how exactly to test the inverter itself. Is it...

I picked this TV out of a trash pile. When I plug it in I can hear the relay on the power supply “click” almost immediately, and then 7 seconds later there is another “click” and the power/OPC LEDs start to flash: two pulses on the power LED, one on the OPC LED. I didn't notice any sign of life from the backlight, but more on that below.....

The service manual () says this is a “DET_10V error: UR10V or A9V is not applied”, but after checking several voltages I believe the power unit is tripping off due to an overload as soon as the backlight tries to come on; this kills...

I have a tripp-lite aspint 3636vr inverter charger which blow some of mosfet transistors. I replaced them repaired also the driver circuit and tested but the mosfets burn again.

It work very well as inverter and also as charger if I let the rear switch in auto mode (inverter) and charger only(charging) but in auto when I connect the feed line 220V AC first time it pass ok to line and start charging the batteries but when I remove the feed line it pass to inverter mode and if I do it again the second time when passing from charging to inverter the Main transformer start making a...
