I have a 26" Vizio LCD and have found blown parts and they are; the, what i am going to call a diode, but may be something else, in position Q1, Resistor in position R1, and another resistor in position R113 underneath the big electrolitic capacitor.
The board numbers are:9MN1261AFC0TN3LF, HIPRO HP-N1261A201 LF REV: 02, and 2007.11.07
It appears that either one of the resistors blew and took the diode with it, or the diode blew taking the resistor with it.
In the pictures, the tranformer and the diode heat sink are pulled out along with the burned out resistors. The circled area is the position of resistor R113.
I will be testing the fuses and transformer and replacing the diode and resistors
I will post back with the transformer readings.
My question is, what is the rating and type of resistor in posistion R113, because it is blown beyond recognition and should I be wary of other problems with the board after replacing these peices if the transformer isn't bad?
