    Insignia NS-32LCD schematic needed

    Hi

I need a schematic for this unit to help understand where the problem is occurring. Particularly helpful would be the power supply schematic.

We got this Insignia NS-32LCD in with a slow turn on complaint. We noticed that the 5 volt supply and 12 volt supply are good... The 24 volt supply to the inverter pulsated between 22 volt to 24 volt. We removed the connection to the inverter and the varying voltage still continued.

Checked all the filters and they were good, soldered up some bad solder connections on the power supply board.

I wanted to see if by removing the inverter connection from the power supply board if the 24 volt would stop pulsating over time... It took about 9 minutes and the voltage became stable... I plugged the inverter connection back into circuit and the set came on.

The pictures are posted the key pictures are of the Power Supply board.

Could the PWM chip cause this?? Any of the switching regulators??

    Thank you for your help(s)

    Bill

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
          by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
          by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

          Assuming...

Using a 5 volt @ 12 amp switching power supply and two USB doctor volt / amp meter to three IPads on one power supply
          by sam_sam_sam
I have been wanting to do this project for some time using a Mean-well switching power supply that I bought at least ten of them that were originally in a device that was abandoned for some reason they were listed new but removed from equipment that was never used

I do not understand Mean-well the capacitor next to the voltage reference ic chip was a brand that is known for failure over time the other capacitors are brand name needless to say it got replaced before I even powered it on for the first time

I used a four USB outlet and electrical plate that is made for...

Panasonic switching power supply daughter board has two 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors which I do not keep in stock
          by sam_sam_sam
I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow

This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

          After all of...

I am in need of a 21 volt switching power supply with at least 5 amp capacity
          by sam_sam_sam
I would be open to a 24 volt @ 5 amp switching power supply that can be adjusted down to 21 volts permanently and the over load protection is still functional and low voltage cutoff 15 volt or higher if necessary

I would rather not have to use a buck converter to get the voltage that I need

So is anyone else that has successfully modify one for a slight lower voltage had good results willing to share with me the safest way to accomplish this task

I googled for a 21 volt switching power supply and did not find very much information for switching power supply...
