    Lg32-10p / lgp26-10p

    Hi,

I am new to this and not very technical, however i have somebody looking at my faulty LG 32 inch Tv at present and they require some drawings of the Power Suppy model for LG32-10P / LGP26-10P.

At first we thought the capacitors had gone but it seems that there is something wrong with the 12v and 24v on the board.

If anybody could point me in the right way of these drawings or better yet any advice on repairing it, i would be most grateful.

    Thanks

My recommendation would be to post pictures of the power supply board here. I have not been able to find any information on that TV.

Most power supplies in TVs of that size have multiple power supplies on the same board - a standby section, and the main supply. The 12V and 24V supplies would most likely be the main supply, which requires a signal from the main board to turn on.

For a number of reasons, both health and personal, I will no longer be active on this board. Any PMs asking for assistance will be ignored.

Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.

Vintage AT Power Supplies - Selecting Capacitors
      by iMic
      Hi,

Back after a long hiatus with some old power supplies that need repairing. I've recently picked up a couple of 386SX systems, two 486DX systems, a SiliconGraphics Indy and an iMac G3 that either have verified leaking capacitors in their power supplies, or are likely to in the near future. For the sake of simplicity, instead of tackling all at once, I'm starting with the 386's and one of the 486's.

The 386's power supplies are Seasonic SS4040A's, with caps that are visibly leaking, and 9 replacement caps per unit are required. Most appear to be from the Rubycon...

      HP Docking Stations Power Supplies...?
      by SolomonMan
      All,
I recently purchased for a colleague and myself two used HP Docking Stations. They are for home use and are exact model as the ones we use at work for our laptops. We are both Software Developers.

Anyways these docks are HP Model 5TW10UT#ABA.

Unfortunately they did not come with there Power supplies (PSU) and I got them reasonable from eBay.

I purchased 2 new from Amazon After Market Power Supplies(PSU). Same Voltage and Same Amperage and in fact it mentions on the Amazon page they are supported for these docks as well.

Variac Transformers and switch mode power supplies.
      by angelos
      Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone in the forum can tell me how they use the variac transformer to check a switch mode power supply that they had just repaired.
I wanted to know how they adjust the votlage, do they start from zero and turn it up slowly or rather switch on that about 60V ac ( My country we use 220V ac) and hope for the best.
Also what sounds the PSU should make, what sounds wrong etc. Also if i have a scope what can i check for.
The reason why i am asking is i have a Sony LED TV PSU whose PFC circuit shorted out and upon closer inspection a...
