      1. Please do not post pictures inline. They cause problems for people with slow connections and irritate many of the rest of us. Instead, use 'Manage Attachments' - below the text entry area.

      2. eBay. Use the part number on the white label on the sustain. However, there is an adjustment on the Y-sustain that requires a 200 Mhz oscilloscope to perform correctly.

          I have one of these.

How difficult are these to open?

I think the sustain board on the right side with the black heatsink is what needs to be replaced.

They had double superiority in tanks and aircraft, triple in artillery, and in air defense and anti-tank weapons they had absolute supremacy. And what? Once again they were beaten. Once again they scrammed [sic]. Once again they screamed for us to come save them. Sadat woke me up in the middle of the night twice over the phone, 'Save me!' He demanded to send Soviet troops, and immediately! No! We are not going to fight for them."

If you have to ask, you shouldn't be trying it. Besides, the service manual is readily available.

Either can fail. Since the OP didn't give much information, I didn't give much advice; just took it on faith that he did the diagnosis properly.

I have the service manual. Just wanted his opinion... This has been sitting in my closet for a while now. Just don't have the funds yet to invest in it.
