I have the transformer shown below in the pics that went bad in my Sylvania lc195sl9 tv. Transformer came off of the inverter/MUT board # ba8cn0f01021-1 also known as A8AN2MUT. The only lettering on the transformer is V11 Q841. Thanks in Advance! Hope the pics turned out ok.
Can someone help me find a transformer?

Re: Can someone help me find a transformer?
I'm curious how you determined that the trafo was bad?
Most likely you'll have to buy the whole board/module. The days of buying a specific part like this have passed.
In order to get a part number you'll need to locate a service manual or schematic from Sylvania.
Seems to range (for the whole board) from $19-25.
One on eBay now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=110716790173

Re: Can someone help me find a transformer?
I checked for continuity in the transformer the primary side checked good but the secondary is shot. I also heard a buzzing from it when tv is first turned on from a cold state. Also done the sniff test and narrowed it down to a burning smell coming from around the transformer.Comment

Re: Can someone help me find a transformer?
Perhaps you could get the trafo cheaper, but finding out what caused it to cook in the first place would be my primary concern? Bad tubes or bad components on the inverter board?
Since it's already shot, rewind?

Haha, I wouldn't know where to start.Comment

Re: Can someone help me find a transformer?
Sometimes these can appear open because when in circuit there is a cap that connects the secondary "halves". Double check and measure from one obvious connection to all the others.
A Ring test would reveal the flaw.veritas odium paritComment

by the_remHello guys,
I would like a quite old but still good 800 W ATX PSU to be repaired. The problem was an extremely heavy coil whine coming from the small secondary transfomer on the PCB.
I desoldered it hoping the references on the upper side would allow me to find a adequate replacement part. Sadly the written references drove me nowhere but to the manufacturer (I-MAG). I sent them a message like a bottle in the see asking them to send me a datasheet of the transformer. And... They responded ! I received a kind of datasheet (see attachment) but my competencies do not allow... -
by BlueMonsoonHi, I want to replace a transformer in a motor cycle battery and float charger, but I can't find any info or the spec of the transformer, in order to start looking.
The number on the transformer is, TEI-16760-01-08C. The info on the charger is input, 220-240V 50hz 0.085A output 12V 0.8A.
Does anyone know where I could find a replacement for this? Thanks.01-10-2022, 08:30 AM -

by smileHello,
I got ATX PSU SL-500 PSU. Images Attached.
It has blown VIPER22A, that I replaced.
Connected trough light bulb the bulb glows very bright indicating a short.
I tested every component on hot side of PCB and can't find the short circuit.
However the problem goes away removing +5VSB transformer.
The winding in questions of +5VSB transormer shows 0.08Ohms, is this normal?... -
by ohrenHello!
I'm looking at an original Xbox PSU: Foxlink ftps-0002 rev. B. The 12 V output is too low, and the 5 V output is too (?) high. Unfortunately I don't have an oscilloscope but only a DMM for diagnosis.
Measured voltages with no load:
After rectifier diodes
12V: 6.17 V
5V: 5.67 V
Secondary transformer pins AC measurement (really don't know if this says anything)
12V: 2-2.5 V
5V: 1.04 V
I also have another (working) Xbox psu from Delta. The same measures there, in order, being: 10.79,... - Loading...
