I have an Akai 50' plasma tv with no picture and no sound , It started about a month ago when one day I try to turn the tv on, it power up with no pic and no sound, but I tried turning it on with the main power switch on the back of the set, some time it will power up with the Akai logo and blue screen for a second or two then the screen will disappear after a few second the akai logo will appear again and disappear and it will repeat it self over and over.
I opened the back cover and check all the out put voltage , I got 5v , which is stable ,Va 60 v which is stable and Vs 190v which did look to be stable but as I keep checking the all the voltage every now and then I notice that the Vs190
V was fluctuating from I90v down to 159v and up again , I do not see any bad or bulged caps , I disconnect the Z board and check the voltage still the same
disconnect the Y board the power drop even lower, when I connect all the boards 5v become stable 60V become but the Va will show 190 v then after a few seconds will start to drop and rise .
I have three light on , on the ctrl board , some time the d2 light will go off , and comes on back .
I know the y , Z and Y sustain board are ok ,I am thinking of main board .
Any and all help is highly appreciated
