    Panasonic LCD PROJECTOR PT-LC56U

I have this projector in my shop. It has a weird symptom that I cannot find a clue about. It shows no signs of life on the outside of it...no fans running, no LED's lit. On the inside, there is a flashing micro LED in the middle of the main processor board. I cannot find a Service manual for this (elektrotanya seems to be down). Has anyone got a clue???

The flashing is simply an on a second, off a second continuous blinking.

I have not yet taken the power board out just yet. I was hoping someone could save me from digging that board out of there for no reason. It's kinda tight in there. Everything visually looks ok from where I can see but that doesn't mean much. I found a couple of regulators on the top processor board. One had 12V input 5V regulated out, another had 3.3V out, dont remember the input, probably 5V

OK, kinda ignore the last post. The symptoms have changed. It now powers up but the screen displayed is red only. It does not recognize the signal going to it from a laptop. The signal is good and works - verified by an external monitor. The projector OSD menu does not show up. Just a red screen.
