    Insignia IS-LCDTV32 white horizontal lines

I've got a Insignia LCD that has thin white horizontal lines that come up on the screen and get worse the longer it's on. They seem to jump around.

I found a couple of 1000uf caps on the power board that were caved in and replaced them and now I'm systematically replacing the caps.

Has anyone run across this before and am I barking up the wrong tree looking for bad caps here?

Re: Insignia IS-LCDTV32 white horizontal lines

Replacing the caps is a good place to start. I had an Insignia NS-LCD32 a while back that needed new caps on the mother board and power supply. Most were capXon if I remember correctly.

The symptoms for that set: it would power on and the display would be perfect then after 20-30 minutes of use the tv would shut down completely. Had to cool down to power back on.

SONY BRAVIA XBR-55A8H - White horizontal lines / red LED flashes four times
      by thstuff
This "free from a friend who was going to recycle it" SONY BRAVIA XBR-55A8H arrived with the bottom center RED LED repeating a four flash pattern. It was treated with kid gloves and was reported to have "just gone dead" and the OLED panel has no dents in the metal frame or cracks.

Thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1091829 helped in proceeding as follows:
      1) Unplugged, then plugged set in while holding the remote VOL- and Power to factory reset.

      2) Waited 30 seconds, then pressed remote Power button and "Select language"...

75r648 TCL 8K Mini LED White Horizontal Lines
      by EazyBone
TV turns on, lights work sound works.

TV shows white/gray horizontal lines across the whole screen as shown in picture. TCON is getting 12v at fuses, VCC 12v.

First experience with 8k and mini LED. Does this picture tell you anything?

Apparently a "certified TCL tech" looked at this TV before I got it free and said it's a Tcon issue but said he couldn't be sure and wrote it off as a loss and they replaced for him.

Any tip or trick on where to start would be appreciated.

Going to research the lines. Also going to disconnect...

Sony XBR-65X750D Horizontal lines bottom of screen
      by ggil44
Hi, I have a Sony XBR-65X750D that has horizontal lines at the bottom 6 inches of the screen. These lines appear to be every other line because the picture is still quite visible behind those lines. The lines appear all the time with a few other lines above and below the 6 inch level blinking on and off at about 2 second intervals. I'm not sure if this is a panel issue or power supply/main board problem. I did replace the T-Con board without any change in the problem. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

DELL P2717H 27 inch white horizontal lines on screen
      by reaper422
      Hello,
I have a problem with the Dell monitor whit LCD Panel MV270FHM-N20
that starts with a normal picture but after three or four seconds of work, it starts to draw horizontal lines progressing from the bottom to the top.
The power supply generates stable voltages.
The power supply of the matrix is 5 volts, which is also stable.
I don't think normal sounds can be heard from the LVDS board.
After measurements are made on the test points on LVDS, the measurements are
      VGH 23.7v
      AVDDS 11.7v
      AVDD 11.7v
      VOFF -7.7v
      VGL...

Sony XBR-85X950G Gray horizontal lines and vertical picture shift diagnosis?
      by noisykid
5.5 year old 85 inch Sony Bravia X950G started showing gray horizontal lines across the bottom of the screen and the picture shifts slightly vertically when it happens. The lines sometimes get bigger/smaller vertically and bounce back. See the video for the problem. It seems to be happening after it warms up after an hour or so. Happens regardless of source. Right now there's nothing but power cable connected and it's happening. We did hook up a new Nintendo Switch to our HDMI switching receiver today, and played for a while with no issues, but this problem didn't occur til a few hours later while...
