SOYO DYLT032D TV PS schematic

Hello all,

I've had a good deal of success replacing caps in LCD monitors and TVs, as an amateur, but right now I'm stalled on the latest TV that I'm working on.

I picked up a Soyo DYLT032D LCD TV which appears to have either PS or inverter issues. The power LED turns on and off properly, the audio amp sounds like it is powering up properly. There just seems to be no backlight.

No obvious swollen caps, so what I really need is a schematic for the power supply. It's a FSP230-5M01.

Please post a clear picture of the overall layout of your set. Then post pics of the individual boards - power supply, inverters, tconn, etc...

I had one with no backlight and found low 2.3v instead of 3.3v on main board. jumped vin to 3.3 leg then and screen and vidio came up. ( do not try this ). I don`t think I had anything but green light, no audio or anything. I started at power supply and couldn`t find anything wrong. I think it had good caps on it (clue to having a bad mainboard).

This was on a 26"lcd and not sure how your model is set up.

Found C27 bad, replaced but still no power on set. Can anyone assist please?

Can you post pictures of the power supply with the heat sink cover removed?
