    HP LCD LC3700N Issues

This TV came in with a blinking OPC light. Powering up the unit in service mode, allowed unit to power on with no backlight.

found bad MOSFETs and fuse in the power supply.

Replaced those, and fired the unit back up in service mode, and the TV works fine with backlight.

However, there is NO option to reset the LAMP ERROR, as most sharp TVs have. since this is an HP rebranded sharp, the option seems to be missing.

so i cannot get this TV to fire up the standard way. have to fire it up in service mode. Tried the factory INIT and stuff like that. nothing

    any ideas?

Nevermind. i figured it out. Turns out there are TWO service modes. I got into the other service mode and reset the error to 0

      Sharp LC32GD4U - Multiple logic/t-con issues

Recently got this set for $15.

When plugged in, the power light turns red as normal,

and when powered on, the backlight immediately turns on, as does the blue power LED, but there's no other indication of startup; the input indicator sometimes shows up, but sometimes it doesn't.

Elements of the UI seem to function; inputs can be selected and the volume can be adjusted. (I don't have the remote, so that's all I can test.)

However, the TV seems to crash at 10-15 second intervals; certain actions, such as selecting the digital cable...

Repair of an LG split AC system indoor unit PCB
      by ngml
I am trying to repair an LG split AC indoor unit, which does not start and gives a CH05 error code.
This indicates an error in the communication between the outdoor and the indoor unit.
The outdoor unit is fine, so the problem is the indoor PCB.
The indoor unit is an LG PC09SQ NSJ (3SNM09JA2FA), and the PCB has the following type number: EAX35907219-1.2 (see photo1)
I changed optocouplers ICO1X & ICO2X and the NPN transistor S9013 which drives optocoupler ICO2X (see photo2), but this did not remedy the fault.

Does anybody have the schematics of this board,...

      Repair Success! Middle Atlantic UPS2200R-IP
      by valvashon
Yesterday I successfully repaired a Middle Atlantic UPS2200R-IP that had inadvertently been used as a surge suppressor at our transmitter site. It has already been replaced with an updated one but it's coming home with me now instead of being e-cycled. To be specific, this is the MA model that has the blue backlit display and has been discontinued, although this design may have been used in many UPS units including the smaller Middle Atlantic ones in this series.

Here's what happened: We experienced a brownout/surge at the site, which damaged the UPS and took our broadcasting...

      HELP! A1398 Dead,
      by Fam787
I bought a second hand Mid 2014 A1398 MacBook Pro when I lived in Australia. I'd bought it as a back-up machine because I had a Mid 2014 MacBook Pro, and realising it might one day fail, I wanted a backup machine because I don't like change.

Two weeks after buying MBP2, the seller called me to check if everything was OK with the unit, which I thought was odd. At that stage I might have turned it on a couple of times, but I'd not used it when he'd called. Over the last few years I used the machine seldomly because my original mac has been pretty OK. Every 3-6 months I'd charge it...
