    insignishit NS-32LCD

I have one of these best buy no-name TVs. NS-32LCD. Appears to be manufactured by CHIMEI

Turns on to blue light, no picture no sound, and i tried the flashlight trick into the panel, and nothing there.

Checked out the power supply, both fuses good. 24V is outputting 24V when set is turned on.

the 12V is 16.8V. thats the odd thing.

Also the main board shows some sign of overheating in the regulator section on the main digital board. Checked all outputs, the 1.8v, 2.5v, 3.3v, 5V works fine.

But the panel VDD 5V is held off. no 5V to panel.

So im assuming its not booting up all the way, or something else is wrong. Anyone seen this issue?

Requesting Help For GA-970A-DS3 rev. 1.0, No Post code, no RSMRST# signal
      by AstutePauciloquent
Hi everyone, over the past few months i have taken a deep dive into motherboard diagnostics and I love the challenge. Currently im trying to learn all about the signals that travel around the motherboard, such as frequencies, enable signals High and Low logic states etc. And i have been learning to read and using the Schematics for this board that i requested here on Badcaps forum, from a few months ago, this is such a great place for these.

I’ve been working on a GA-970A-DS3 (rev. 1.0) that does not post. This motherboard has been my main learning board. I would like share...

Macbook A2289 - backlight problems - have checked a lot already - out of ideas
      by survivalbloke
This is A2289, board 820-01987-A. It came in with the screen not working. We could not see any image on the screen, so we ruled out a backlight issue and instead replaced the panel. The display now comes up, but no backlight.

I didn't see any signs of liquid damage, but there was some odd looking spots around U8400. F8400 has voltage on either side of it, and I have 5v present on R8444 and R8445. I did not have 3.2v at R8442 so I figured U8400 was bad, and I replaced it. After replacement, a brief probe to R8442 showed 3.2v so I assumed I had fixed the device. After reassembly however,...

Sharp 80” long short flash backlight error - Help
      by Superbee_dad
      Hello Sharp TV experts
Our Sharp LC-80LE642U displays one short one long flash error code which is a backlight error. I went into service mode and there were 8 lamp error counts recorded. I reset the count to 0 and did a reset. The last monitor error cause was 16 B00014639:12. 16 is the code for backlight error. I tried to power the tv up but went back into error mode.

      > I checked voltages on the power supply board and they all check out .. including 3.28 volts at the error pin.
      > There is power to the cpu and T-CONN and no faults found there. The cpu has a flashing...

      LG OLED65C7V-Z power issue
      by Kievan
Hello, I'm trying to repair an LG OLED65C7V-Z that has no picture and no sound. When I plug the TV, I hear the relay click. When I push the power button, i hear a second click and there are 3 red blinks but no sound and no picture.
I checked the voltage at the power board and I have the 20V and 12V at the mainboard connector, I have the 12V at the T-CON connector but not the 24V.
I tested the power supply without the T-CON and the main board by injecting 3.3V into the PWR_ON pin, the DPC pin and the 12VT_ON pin but still no 24V.
I checked the fuses, the diodes, the capacitors...
