How to clean the polarsing layers?

I've repaired a TV that i found standing on the streets for the garbageman. Unfortunately, the tv got wet and there was -at least, that's what i think- some moisture behind the panel. During two weeks, it became less and less, I think the moisture is gone 99%, but i still see some residu on the sheets

It's harsh to see when looking straight to the tv, but it is visible from an angle.

Is it safe to clean these layers and if so, how do i do that?

i have in the past gave them a very gentle wipe over with lint free cloth . you have to watch the static though one spec of dust turns into a mountain . .

I found one and the same condition outside. I took it apart and cleaned the sheets with alcohol and let dry a few minutes and put back.

I have had one though where the sheets stuck to each other after being left out in the rain and peeled when separating them.

Moister need water to get the fleck out... use distillery water to wash them complete from any side it effected with moister.. after dry use lint free cloth ..

The back of the screen and the layer behind it are the usual parts that will have stains.
Alcohol actively deforms the plastic, but a quick wipe will do nothing bad.
