yours TV system Android. as any box or android TV the PSU produce 12V -10V always this will go to Step down on MB to generate 3.3 / 1.8 etc to let the Nand / CPU start the firmware start script (boot loader) , at this stage the PSU will go High and turn on all other rails include the BL

to trouble shooting Android MB.. we look after the low voltage i mentioned before.. if they are exist , then we have issue at eMMC / CPU / and the last issue at Firmware ( boot loader )

working around as any Mobile.... can play to knop power volume down and then plug in wall... or contact Hisense to have complete Firmware on USB..

the sign make me write this... because when u touched part the script start and BL come on.. so its sound for me boot loader issue or dead eMMC

I got no nothing now, the MB shows no voltages anymore lol. Checked that resistor voltage, TV finally turned on backlight and poof, MB done for some reason. But yes I didn't get 12v to tcon before then either

You are correct, I never knew they looked that way. Wouldn't even know what to do with it.

I think we are dead now, no replacement available currently so I'm gonna mess around with it but I think it's done lol. At least verified that it was the motherboard most likely and will keep in case I run across one.

by the way the marked part you touched are R not C..... if you shorted with chassis possible one of the R get Open

    Update 2 seconds later Lol

I touched this specific cap to test voltage out of the other area that's getting hot and when I did the backlight flickered and then turned on. I didn't have time to check other voltages, but I was able to check one 18v pin and it had come up to 16.8v before I realized I did something. Help now???? Lol

Now the TV red standby light doesn't come on anymore lol and voltages are now back to main disconnected from mb voltages

Now everything is dead lol. I shorted something touching that exact area or something.

As a note the 4R7 component was getting hot and is the other hot spot seen in thermal. Only 115F but still hot compared to other 4R7

    Gh12E gets 0v, 3.28, 5.1 and opposite side gets 3.28

TV won't turn on but Tcon doesn't get any V to fuse on either side, with or without WiFi disconnected

I don't see a service port, there's a headphone jack between HDMI and USB

Yes 18v reads 16.6 actually . I don't know what you mean slide out the wire and check for 18V. Do you mean disconnect it from the harness as a single wire?

    Here's some pictures Sony lol

Yep, check GH12E voltages, don't think it should run that hot.

    you need to check
1- LVDS connected.... check if T-CON fuse F1 have 12V from both side... if no V.
then disconnect the wifi / BT module from MB and check again. if still no V

you need to check the Regulator you said before its go hot read the V on all pins Ref to chassis

i think you have Service port on the side between USB port and HDMI , if this service port need to capture the log at start up the tV

also from ypurs post the 18V rail it read 16V... slide out the wire of it from PSU side. and turn on check the pins of it if it go high to 18V.

Here's MB pic, I can't find anything wrong here. No shorts that I find. Is there some area I should look at? They don't have this MB online anywhere. Crazy

I took this 75 inch screen off alone lol... And the friggin LEDs are fine. Scared to try and put the screen back on. Biggest one I've messed with now. Wish me luck. At least we are down to the last things lol. Mother friggin board.

Any suggestions what I should be checking for? Obviously continuity but I've not been successful at fixing a MB yet. I've heated one with the main chip up and put it back in and had picture for a moment but that was it. Okay back together

Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?
    by cheeky2
I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...

Sceptre U550CV-UMR 4K LED, Bad Caps on Main Power Board?
    by Dani_2024
Hi and thanks in advance for any input you might provide!
I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.
Main power board model: TP.MS3683.PC821 T-Con board: N4TP546UHDPU2L_BO

Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...

    Hisense main board surrogate evaluation
    by BadCapex
    Hi,

I am yet another unfortunate owner of a 65H6570F with a main board that failed due to an inherent flaw with the eMMC.

    Reference: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=117406

The exact replacement board for a 65H6570 model TV is RSAG7.820.8831/ROH (aka 265223, aka 244991). It is very rare or expensive ($150+) to purchase currently and arguably not worth it if they're all just ticking time bombs.

A very similar board was identified in the above referenced thread, RSAG7.820.10315/ROH. It is more reliable, cheap, plentiful, and...

Hisense 50r6- no standby, no power, bad main board?
    by LemoneyF
    Hi all

I have a Hisense 50r6 that quit suddenly, immediately after turning it on. It no longer shows red a standby light and will not turn on. Completely dead.

I have tested the power supply and found the following:

363V and 373V across the input caps

    bri- 0V
    ana- 0V
    vamp-17.03V
    vamp-17.03V
    stb- 0V
    12V- 9.3V
    12V- 9.3V

To the extent of my knowledge (...not far!) these numbers are normal for a Hisense power supply in a standby state, though I would like some confirmation that 9v...
