I have aquired an LG 49UB850V-ZD 49" led smart tv that will not power up all i'm getting is 3 red flashes when I attempt to power it up. I have so far changed the ususal suspects i.e power supply board and T-Con board and i'm not getting anywhere with it and I'm starting to suspect the problem may be the LED strips themselves are causing the issue. Has anyone else had any similar problems with this LG Model ?

by DenKDear all, I am trying to troubleshoot an Acer Aspire 5 A514-55 that won't power on. I'll describe the symptoms and my findings so far, and I would like to seek guidance and suggestions on possible suspects in terms of cause/component failure. My initial thoughts are battery charger IC and/or ideal diode/MOSFET (that switches between incoming DC and battery power), but I could be totally wrong on this.1) Laptop was working fine on battery, then user realised battery was running low. Plugged in AC adapter but noticed it was not charging (LED on AC adapter plug did not light). Eventually shut down...

by adelfr2009Hello .
I have an HP Victus 15-fb laptop with the DAG3PRMB8D0 motherboard, Ryzen 7 7535HS CPU, and RTX 2050 GPU. I had a short on the 19 V line, and I was forced to replace the following components:
1- 2 nmos near dc jack connector
2- ic charger (88739b) + small resistor between CSIN pin and sense resistor output
3- i changed also a 1 dual mosfet in VRM
After replacing the VRM MOSFETs and the charger IC, the laptop works and the CPU survived 🙏
However, now I have a problem: the laptop is very slow, running only at 0.4 GHz.

by rotary616Hi,
I just aquired an Asus Tuf gaming b550-plus motherboard.
When i tried to boot with a Ryzen 3 3100 cpu, i got a flashing
cpu debug light. Then i tried to boot with a ryzen 3 3200g and
the board booted just fine. The problem is the 3100 is supported
on the Asus website and the 3200g is not supported. Why would
it work with an unsupported cpu and not the 3100 which is supported.
I updated the bios to latest version but that did not help. Also tried clearing
cmos but no help. Tried replacing the bios chip with new one, same result.
Any help...-

by lordmmxHello guys,
I have recently aquired Lenovo Legion 7 16ithg6 NM-D721, with weird issue. From time to time it will POST fine, boot to windows and work without a single issue. After restart however, it will not post again and then it will not post at all.
After messing around with bios (reflashing it), removing ssd, wifi, battery, etc, none of helped, I checked 5v and 3.3 coils and to my surprise, multimeter showed both coils hovering around 4V for 5V coil and 2V for 3.3v coil.
Thermal camera did not showed anything hot, but I'm sure something is either going... -
